Don Harris has been practicing in Austin, Texas, since 2000. After receiving his Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Texas A&M University, Don worked at an Architecture firm in San Francisco. He went on to complete the Masters Program in Architecture at the University of Oregon, and began his work with housing typologies in Portland. While there, he worked as a design lead on large scale condominium projects and custom homes in urban and rural Oregon, including prototypes commissioned by the Portland Design Commission. Upon returning to Texas, Don carved a niche in the residential design and building culture of Austin. He has worked with numerous boutique home builders on spec projects as well as custom homes and remodels for many happy Austinites.Don is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
